HALL COUNTY & DISTRICT CLERK’S OFFICE
Due to our recent move from the Courthouse to the Annex, County & District records are being stored at another facility. We must adjust our office hours in order for us to unpack and organize at the records building. Our office hours are as follows, effective Monday, April 10, 2023 until further notice.
HALL COUNTY & DISTRICT CLERK’S OFFICE HOURS
MONDAY – THURSDAY 8:30 – 3:30
Research availability will be limited while the Clerk’s office is located in the Annex building as our records will be located in an offsite storage building. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment for researching records.
Follow us on Facebook and visit our website for Courthouse Restoration progress and other County/District Clerk office updates.
Thank you for your understanding while we make this transition! I apologize for any inconvenience!

WEBSITE UPDATE -
Please be patient as we continue to update our website. Check back regularly for updates or feel free to call our office with any questions.
MARKS & BRANDS -
In accordance with Article 144.044 of the Agriculture Code, the marks and brands that have been previously recorded will expire on August 30, 2021.
The owner of the brand will have from August 31, 2021 through February 28, 2022 to renew their mark or brand. On March 1, 2022 all marks and brands that have not been renewed will be open for registration to any person desiring to record the brand in their name.
If you have brands registered in other counties in the State of Texas, it will be necessary to contact the office of the County Clerk of that county for re-registration as well.

Clerks cannot give advice or the rendering of any service requiring the use of legal skill or knowledge, such as preparing any instrument or document. It is unauthorized Practice of Law per Gov. Code 81.101. For more information, visit the Self Help Resources below.
